Stephanie Douglas built Euro Pro Connect from firsthand experience as a collegiate athlete, professional player,
coach, entertainer, and agent.
Her career has taken her through NCAA Division I basketball, professional basketball overseas, the Harlem Globetrotters, athlete representation, and law school. Each stage shaped the way she now helps players navigate professional opportunities, contracts, presentation, and career strategy.

Finding Another Way
Stephanie’s path to professional basketball was not traditional. After a college career marked by transfers, limited playing time, and inconsistent film, securing representation
and professional opportunities was difficult.
Rather than give up, she attended a professional combine in Germany, secured an agent, expanded her network, and went on to play professionally in Germany and Spain.
That experience taught her how important preparation, presentation, networking, film, résumé quality, and persistence can be when the traditional path does not work.

Basketball Meets Entertainment
Stephanie’s career later expanded beyond traditional basketball when she joined the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters.
As a Globetrotter, basketball ability was only part of the job. Performance, personality, audience connection, image, entertainment, and marketability all mattered.
That experience reinforced a lesson Stephanie had already learned much earlier in life: athletes can create value beyond statistics and build opportunities through personality, presentation, and connection.
Stephanie’s understanding of branding and marketability began long before her professional basketball career. She began working professionally in advertising and entertainment while still in elementary school, appearing in television commercials, print campaigns, modeling assignments, and voiceover work. She also became a member of the Screen Actors Guild at a young age.
As basketball became more serious and Stephanie developed into a nationally ranked high school player, the NCAA amateurism rules in place at the time created a conflict between continuing paid entertainment work and preserving her collegiate eligibility. She ultimately chose collegiate basketball.
Years later, her career with the Harlem Globetrotters allowed her to bring basketball and entertainment back together. Those experiences gave Stephanie an early understanding of how image, personality, professionalism, presentation, and marketability can create opportunities beyond athletic performance alone.
Stephanie earned her Juris Doctor after years of working in basketball, coaching, professional sports, and athlete development. Her legal education strengthens the way she approaches contracts, negotiations, professional relationships, dispute awareness, athlete advocacy, and decision-making.
As a Juris Doctor graduate pursuing attorney licensure, Stephanie brings legal training to her work in the sports industry, including a deeper understanding of contracts, negotiations, professional relationships, and athlete advocacy.
Disclaimer: Stephanie Douglas and Euro Pro Connect does not provide legal representation or legal advice. Any contract review, negotiation, or guidance provided through Euro Pro Connect is performed solely in Stephanie’s capacity as a certified sports agent and does not create an attorney-client relationship.
From athlete to coach, professional player, entertainer, agent, and Juris Doctor graduate, Stephanie’s career has never followed one lane. That range of experience now shapes the mission of Euro Pro Connect: helping players better prepare for opportunities, understand the professional basketball landscape, present themselves effectively, and make informed decisions about the direction of their careers.
